For many of our neighbors, our lunchtime meal deliveries help reduce isolation and support overall well-being. Our PALS (Pets Assisting the Lives of Seniors) program is another way we foster companionship for our homebound neighbors.

To Receive PALS Services, You Must:

  • Be receiving home-delivered meal service from Meals on Wheels Central Texas. 
    Not receiving meals yet? Inquire about meal services →
  • Have a dog or cat. We are unable to provide services for other animals.
  • Have pets that are spayed/neutered, or agree to have PALS cover the surgery.

  • Monthly delivery of free pet food for cats and dogs in our home delivered meal program

  • Pet supplies and essential items when available.

Veterinary
Care

  • Access to annual vet exams, vaccines, and preventative care though partner organizations.

  • Assist with spay and neuter appointment transportation and services.
Pet Transportation

  • Transportation assistance for veterinary and grooming appointments with volunteer support.
  • Temporary foster care for pets during hospital stays or other emergencies.
